I just backed my first game on Kickstarter. This game is Tiny Epic Pirates by Gamelyn Games. I am a big fan of the Tiny Epic series having owned Tiny Epic Galaxies and Tiny Epic Defenders. The Kickstarter ends on June 10, 2020 at 2:59 AM.
I always love the pirates theme but I don't own any pirate games. Tiny Epic Pirates is a 45 minute, 1-4 player game of high-seas adventure, utilizing a variable RONDEL action system and action combo-ing! Yes, you can play solo like all the other Tiny Epic games. If it is not soloable, it won't be in my collection.

It uses a Rondel system where you choose your action like plundering, trading, crew up, attacking, searching, and burying treasure. First to bury three treasures wins the game. Not only are you competing with pirates, but you have to contend with the Royal navy.
Even though I didn't play all the Tiny Epic games, the ones I did play were solid. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars so the price point was just right since this game is compact. The art is amazing and the game is already funded and has reached most of its stretch goals with the latest being metal coins. Oooh, metal coins.
If it hits 1 million dollars. One million dollars! We can have the option of custom made dice. So check out the Kickstarter before it ends early June 10.
